A M P L I T U D E
A M P L I T U D E is a bold new performance project for an ensemble cast of dancers/performers and singers aged 50+.
Choreography by Emily Alden and Pete Shenton
Choir & Musical Direction by Matthew Thomason.
A M P L I T U D E is a dynamic new performance event which shines a light on the mature performer taking space within Cornwall’s creative ecology.
Dissolving traditional theatre expectations, the performers will move amongst the audience, softening the boundaries between dancers, singers and audience members.
“I used to dance when I was young and loved it. I somehow lost that connection with myself, or perhaps I put things in the way.
I just wanted to say in a very straightforward way that I am thrilled to be given the chance to reconnect with that part of me.
I look forward to some more exploration!”
