Classes & Workshops

‘Re:fReSh is an inspirational body of work for mature dancers living in Cornwall.

It provides inspiring opportunities to reconnect a community of dancers, rebuild creative confidence, and

Re:fReSh dance skills.

‘Re:fReSh’ offers a dynamic programme of dance master classes for mature dancers led by acclaimed dancers and choreographers.

Re:fReSh‘ provides weekly dance and visual art sessions for stroke survivors
and their carers.

‘Re:fReSh‘ reflects Inner Ground Dance Company’s ethos that everyone should have access to excellent creative activities. Creative participation is life-enhancing. It brings people together through the bonds of shared experience and, as we age, this supports living well longer.

Between March 2022 and April 2023, Re:fReSh‘ has provided 17 workshops led by a diverse range of inspirational teachers.

Thank you Arts Council England for funding this fantastic experience.

“I have loved every workshop and can’t wait to participate again.”

“It’s opened my eyes to what dance is really about, how amazing it is to be in a class with actual dance teachers, it has felt like such a blessing and such a lovely surprise. It’s accessible and affordable. I would not have otherwise ever done anything like this.”

“Dancing is where the joy is.”

We are delighted to announce that we have been given an award from the National Lottery Community Fund.  We are now running an exciting new programme of ‘Re:fReSh:23/24 workshops.
